This course covers the basic concepts and fundamentals laws of electric cicuit theory; analysis and applications of series, parallel, and series parallel resistive circuits; mesh and nodal analysis; network theorems; characteristics of inductors and capacitors; analysis of RL, RC, and RLC circuits with DC excitation.

At the end of this course, the students should be able to:

gain literacy of the different concepts and fundamentals of electrical circuits analysis needed for further studies of higher learning; and develop the student' logical thinking skills in solving linear circuit analysis problems using modern engineering techniques. appreciate the use of Laws and Theorems used in solving problems in electrical circuit analysis for direct current voltage. appreciate cicuit analysis by using examples that feature design considerations.
