DTEXT Command:
AutoCAD Command List
DTEXT allows you to add text to a drawing. To access the Dtext command you can: select Text, and then Single Line Text... , under the Draw Menu, OR type dt at a Command: prompt. --Prompt: Current text style: "Standard" Text height: 0.2000 Specify start point of text or [Justify/Style]: Use an Absolute Coordinate, Relative Rectangular Coordinate, Relative Polar Coordinate, or click to locate the start position of the text. --Prompt: Specify height <3>: Enter a new value for the text height or press Enter to move to the next prompt. --Prompt: Specify rotation angle of text <0>: Enter a new value for the angle of the text or press Enter to move to the next prompt. --Prompt: Enter text: Type the text. --Prompt: Enter text: Type in additional text or press Enter to exit the command. Return to the AutoCAD Command List.
