if the number ENDS in an even number (0, 2, 4, 6 or 8) it is divisible by 2 if the sum of the digits is a multiple of three (is divisible by 3), the number will be divisible by 3
If the last two digits are divisible by four then the original number is divisible by 4 If the last digit is a five or a zero then the number is divisible by 5 If the number is divisible by two and three then the number is divisible by 6 If the sum of the digits is a multiple of 9 (divisible by 9) then the number is divisible by 9 If the last digit is a zero then the number is divisible by 10
Rules OF Divisibility Im #2 and Ill be your friend, as long as an even #s on the end #3 will work for me, you see, if the sum is divisible by 3 The #4 wont be such a chore, if the last 2 are divisible by 4 The #5 is my biggest hero, he has to end in 5 or 0 The #6 will always go into me, as long as so does 2 and 3 #9 will go into me just fine, if the sum is divisible by 9 Im #10 and this you should know, I always end in a big fat 0
