Fervent Faith
For the members to understand how faith works. For them to recognize the wonders their faith in God has done in their lives. Play this game in 15 minutes. Play Pictionary using characters found in Mark 5:21-43. Separate the people into two teams. Assign a leader to each team that will draw. Give each team leader the same character's name and have him draw clues to get the team to guess the character. The first team to guess correctly wins the game. Discuss how each drawn character was an example of faith. Daughter, your faith has saved you. Go in peace and be cured of your affliction. Mark 5:34 Faith works wonders. For the hemorrhaging woman, her fervent faith ended her 12-year suffering bringing new hope and healing from her ailment. Our sickness may be physical, emotional or spiritual but all these affect us to the point of us experiencing suffering. In this bible passage, we are reminded that our faith has that power to cure us from all our afflictions and the best part is we also experience peace. When we seek healing from God, a fervent faith becomes the key for the realization of our prayers. Truly, Gods work of wonders can only happen in our lives through our fervent faith in Him. Share an experience where what you prayed for happened because you believed it will happen. 1. Share with your friends and family one faith-experience you had this week. 2. List all your prayer requests in your journal and make them a part of your prayer time starting this week.
