COMPAC SOL A100-15 is a sintered alumina refractory castable with the following properties: It has a bulk density of 3.05 g/cm3 and cold crushing strengths of 80.0 N/mm2 at 110°C and 180.0 N/mm2 at 1000°C. The castable has a thermal conductivity of 2.45 W/mK at 400°C, 2.40 W/mK at 800°C, and 3.05 W/mK at 1200°C. It is composed mainly of alumina (99.5%), has a grain size of 0-15 mm, requires liquid addition of 6.3-7.
