List of Capacities: Engine Driven Pumps

This document provides a list of capacities for an engine including: - Cooling capacities for lubricating oil, charge air, low temperature (LT) and high temperature (HT) systems - Flow rates for LT and HT systems at various inlet/outlet temperatures - Exhaust gas flow and temperature - Allowable back pressure for the engine - Air consumption for starting the engine - Heat radiation from the engine and alternator It also notes that heat balances are based on tropical conditions and flows/temperatures are based on ISO ambient conditions. LT and HT outlet temperatures are fixed but inlet temperatures impact flow rates.

The stated heat balances are based on tropical conditions, the flows and exhaust gas temp. are based on ISO ambient condition.

* The outlet temperature of the HT water is fixed to 80C, and 44C for the LT water. At different inlet temperature the flow will change accordingly. Example: If the inlet temperature is 25C then the LT flow will change to (44-36)/(44-25)*100 = 42% of the original flow. The HT flow will not change.
