Be Kind by Charles Bukowski

The document discusses being kind to others despite their flaws or mistakes. While it is asked that one understands another's perspective, even if outdated or obnoxious, the true fault lies with those who have deliberately wasted their lives and refused to see clearly. Despite living out of focus, old age alone is no crime, and one should not feel obligated to hide their viewpoint for fear of causing fear in others.

Be Kind- Charles Bukowski not their fault?

we are always asked to understand the other persons viewpoint no matter how out-dated foolish or obnoxious. one is asked to view their total error their life-waste with kindliness, especially if they are aged. but the shame of a deliberately wasted but age is the total of our doing. they have aged badly because they have lived out of focus, they have refused to see. is. among so many deliberately wasted lives life age is no crime I am asked to hide my viewpoint from them for fear of their fear. whose fault? mine?
