CPU-Z is a freeware utility that provides information about the CPU, motherboard, and memory installed in a computer system. It can display details like the CPU model, speed, number of cores, cache size, as well as information on the chipset, BIOS, memory size and timings. The utility has options to disable certain sensors and detections for troubleshooting or to generate reports without a graphical user interface. It allows saving screenshots of its displays to files or the clipboard.

php CPU-Z is a freeware and can be freely distributed. Parameters ----------sensor : Disable sensor chip detection and voltages measurement. -pci : Disable the pci detection. This concerns the chipset name and revision, AGP informations, memory timings and memory module information. Sensor chip detection and voltages measurement are disabled also. -dmi : Disable the DMI (Desktop Management Interface) information. This concerns BIOS vendor and version, motherboard vendor and revision. -smb : Disable SMBus information. Results depend on the hardware. -file=filename : Launch CPU-Z in ghost mode : no interface appears, the file report is created in the same directory than the exe file. Keys ---F5 : save the current tab in a bmp file F6 : save the current tab in the clipboard
