The Beer Boutique began as the project of two childhood friends, Marc Verlet and Eddie Lancaster, with a shared passion for excellent beer. Having spent a lot of time together drinking ne beer in the Dutch town of Maastricht, Marc and Eddie decided it was high time to bring a piece of the continental drinking culture over to the UK; thus, The Beer Boutique was born. Putney is the perfect base for the business, already home to numerous pubs and bars. The Beer Boutiques mission? To get as many people in London drinking the good stuff as possible.

Affordable Ronan 2010, 11 Ronan Laborde of Chateau Clinet has captured the attention of the wine world through the creation of his latest wine The Ronan. We visited Clinet during en primuer week [when one buys wines in cask before they go onto the market] and were struck by the quality of this wine, Clinets youngest sibling. The general consensus in the trade is that this is a wine priced at 11 per bottle, but, in actual fact, feels more like a wine worth 30-40 per bottle.
