Category Process 25%

Skills Communication and collaboration: The student effectively connected with others AND/OR outside sources to further their project by demonstrating accountability. To do this, students will: provide and seek out assistance from classmates provide and seek out assistance from expert sources provide and seek out assistance from people with other perspectives contribute content and ideas contribute technical assistance. Product quality should exhibit all of the following: Creativity: The student will create an end product that is both original and interesting to their core audience Format: The student will create an interactive, self-contained product that makes use of multiple presentation methods Originality: The student will create a project that is an original, personal statement of their content analysis. Properly Cited: Project demonstrates appropriate and justifiable integration of all cited material and uses MLA format Accessible: The product will be available to others outside of the classroom.

Quality Sources: (12.5%) The student will give validity to their product by using all of the following high quality resources: on-line databases primary sources original interviews original information creation expert secondary sources Multiple Perspectives (12.5%): Student will integrate at least five quality sources. At least one quality source must demonstrate a global perspective Quality Thesis (12.5%): Answers the question with an individual position and provides a factual rationale.
