Description 0f a place In my life I have traveled to many beautiful places.

Most of them in my mind are a blur, but one place I have never forgotten. It is my hometown's Green Water a!e. I am from "ubei in #hina, which is situated in the middle of the country. My hometown #hibi #ity has one beautiful la!e. It is called Green Water a!e. $ctually, Green Water a!e is Green Water %iver& this river crosses two provinces. 'ome company made a dam on the river, so the dam top's river seems li!e a la!e. (he water is very clean and smooth, and there are hundreds of islands in the la!e. (here are some islands that have thousands of birds& there are some islands with a lot of bamboo, pines, and with many !inds of plants I don't !now the name of. (he flowers are white, red, pin! and purple everywhere. (here are beautiful smells and beautiful sights. I lived in my hometown from the time I was ten years old to the time I was eighteen years old. In that eight years, every summer I swam in the Green Water a!e. I love this la!e very much. I li!ed to swim in the la!e. I li!ed to dive in the water and watch the fish. I li!ed to float on my bac! in the water, watch beautiful white clouds, and thin! about which animals they resembled. I li!ed swimming in the rain, and I floated on the water listening to the rain. It was li!e beautiful music. 'ometimes I swam to an island to pic! up some wildflowers. Green Water a!e brought me a wonderful time. When my husband went to my hometown first time, It was wintertime. )ne sunny day, I brought him to Green Water a!e& the water was beautiful, but the trees didn't have leaves and the flowers weren't blooming. "e still thought this tense a charming place. ast 'eptember he too! four $mericans to my hometown, and they too! a boat out on the la!e& everybody said, *It is a charming la!e+* %ight now every year there are thousands of tourists who travel to Green Water a!e. I am very happy that people li!e the la!e, but I worry that people will pollute the la!e because Green Water a!e in my heart is very important.
