It is very user friendly and it walks through step by step what to do. Even if you have never created an internet scavenger hunt, you will be able to create one in no time. 2. When students work on TenMarks, there are hints and video lessons for every problem where they can review the content and move on. When a student doesn't do well on a topic, TenMarks provides intervention and provides them solutions to fill the gap in the students learning. It is like Study Island, but it is free. 3. NoRedInk - https://noredink.com/ NoRedInk is a free website that helps your students improve their grammar and writing skills. You can create lessons and on-line quizzes to give your students and track their progress. I have seen gains in my students by using this website. 4. Kidblog - http://kidblog.org/home/ Kidblog is a free website where you can create a class blog for your students to post their writings, photos, and ideas. Student comments will not show up until you have approved them to be posted. Kidblog also allows students to embed Animoto too. 5. Slidestory - http://www.slidestory.com/ Slidestory is a free website where students can make a presentation and share them on the internet. Students can tell a story, share photos, and narrate their story in their own voice and then share their story with others. This is a great website to use if you have students create storyboards in your classroom. 6. Storybird - http://storybird.com/ Storybird is a free website where students choose an art piece from an image library and then it creates a page with a place where students can write. Students can create books, research projects, and share them with others through URL or printing the stories. This is a great website if you do Young Authors Night at your school. 7. You can share PowerPoints, notes, PDFs, and videos. You can also create slidecasts with this website. This website also allows you to create a visual resume and then post it on LinkedIn. This is a great website to grow your professional network.

Your students or the teacher can create an interactive quiz within the slideshow with multiple choice questions on some or all slides. PhotoPeach is great for group work. 9. Students will be able to share stories, have discussions, and share research with each other. All you have to do is create an account for your class and then create identities for each one of your students. 10. Popplet - http://popplet.com/ Popplet is a free website where students and teachers can create timelines and graphic organizers and share them with others on Flickr, YouTube or print them. There is an area where students can leave feedback or comment on the graphic organizer or timeline. Popplet is a great brainstorming tool to use in a science or social studies class. You can also embed Google maps into your graphic organizer or timeline. 11. It is a great website if you teach Communications. Students can watch their presentations and work on their public speaking skills. As an educator, it is free if you only do 10 recordings a month.
