Kingfisher Calendar

In 2003, United Breweries introduced the Kingfisher Swimsuit Special Calendar, which was the first of its kind in India featuring fashion designers, models and photographers. The first calendar was shot in Mauritius and Thailand, while subsequent editions in 2004 and 2005 were photographed in Thailand and South Africa respectively. The 2006 calendar featured models in Australia with all editions including high-resolution images.

In 2003, United Breweries introduced the Kingfisher Swimsuit Special Calendar. It was the first of its kind in India, bringing together the best elements of the Indian fashion industry: designers, models and photographers.

2004

The 2nd edition of the calendar was shot against the spectacular beaches, mesmerizing ocean and picturesque skies of Thailand's Phuket and Krabi islands, by India's ace photographer Atul Kasbekar.

This edition features leading Indian models like Yana Gupta, Pia Trivedi, Sheetal Menon and two new international faces of Indian Origin Asha Leo from London and Cindy Burbridge from Thailand. Shot at Dr. Vijay Mallyas 2 Game Reserves - Imbali Game Reserve in Kruger National Park & Mabula Game Lodge as well as at the spectacular Earth Lodge in Sabi Sabi.
