Ask ECC to promote the ids on the servers as per wo login to the windows server open DM Make a note of disk numbers which needs to expanded ( root disks or Mount points) Use these disk numbers to check in power path to get respective lun IDs and clariion information Create RG report on respective clariion. Prefer RG of base lun to bind new lun to add if there is no space to accommodate the new lun and select or create new RG expand the required storage group right click on the required lun and select expand select expansion type as concatenate unless it specified otherwise Ensure the Max capacity is selected select the expansion rate as ASAP complete the wizard Repeat the procedure for other luns which needs to expand.

Host configuration 1. Open Computer Mgmt. 2. right click on DM and select re-scandisk 3. Ensure that there is unallocated space at tail of disks ( root disk or mount points) which needs to increased 4. Use Diskpart to extend. DISPART>list volume Make note of volume number associate with disk or MP DISPART>select volume n (Where n is volume number say volume # is 14 DISPART> select volume 14) Ensure there is free space DISPART> volume detail It lists the size and free space DISPART> Extend DISPART> exit. Refer the below request S91904 Add 280 GB to THR010SQ. The server is located in CHQ G:\MPDATA = 60 GB (Add 40 GB) G:\MPLOG= 30 GB (Add 20 GB)
