One:
The Admin Control Panel
You already understand the functions on the admin control panel. There are a few key items
which you may not know though. I will go through them and tell you what they are, what they
do, how to use them, and when to use them.
Member Moderation:

What we need to understand in the member’s area is Permissions, Forced Permissions,

Moderation Queue, &Suspensions.

Permission Set:

Permission sets are a Set of Permissions Which Groups or Members can be assigned to
use for the Forum Level Access. To view or edit these go to:

ACP > Management > Forum Control > Manage Permissions

You may now fully understand how forums permissions are set.
Remember: These are Forum Level Permissions.

You will most likely use this when you need to create a New Group That Has Special
Forum Status. EG Donors.

Forced Permissions:

You can use this permission sets not only by group basis but by a member on member
basis. If you do this however any other Permission Set will be nulled.

To Do this:

ACP > Management > {Member} > Edit Members Profile > Posting & Access
Restrictions >Override group forum permissions with...

You would want to do this on a member who is under investigation or something. These
will Not Change groups only Force them to use that Forum Level Permission Set.

Moderation Queue

Allows all (NEW) posts by this member to be put into the moderation queue. Which
Means Any Post He Makes Will Be invisible until staff approves it.

To Do This:

ACP > Management > {Member} > Edit Members Profile > Posting & Access
Restrictions > Require moderator preview of all posts by this member?

You will want to use this to stop a certain member from posting because it may be
possible spam.
Restrict Posting Access

You can also completely remove access of posting from them. To Do this:

ACP > Management > {Member} > Edit Members Profile > Posting & Access
Restrictions > Restrict {Member} from posting?

Suspensions

You can suspend a member from the site for hours or days. To do these go to:

ACP > Management > {Member} > Suspend Member...
