If paper and pen isnt an option, ask professor if acceptable to record lectures Complete reading assignments before class Designate a notebook for each class (if using pen and paper) Record the main points of a lecture Listen for you need to know this or this will be on an exam Note the professors review at the beginning of class and the summary at the end

Highlight any information that doesnt make sense and discuss with professor or clarify through textbook/research Review note after each class, re-write them (if using pen and paper) for clarity and to fill in missing information Use this clean copy study for exams
