Download and install either Samsung ,S- Drivers or .ies on your / . 0f you already have any of them, s$ip this step% 9o2nload :e%e 1urn on ,S- Debugging on your device from Settings> Developer Options. *e2t, charge your 3ala2y *ote 8.+ to ensure more than 4+5 battery life.

1. ,n6ip the !"(uto"#oot 6ip pac$age. 0nside the e2tracted folder, you7ll see a file with .tar.md5 e2tension which will loo$ li$e this% CF-Auto-Root-kona3g-kona3gxxgtn5 !!.tar.md5 8. (lso un6ip the 6ips with *d'n+ 1.85 to your des$top. 3. 1urn off your 3ala2y *ote 8.+ and boot it into Download 'ode% press and hold the 9olume ,p : /ower buttons at the same time for 8"3 seconds till you see a warning screen with a yellow triangle, as$ing you to press 9olume ,p button. /ress it to enter Download mode.

;. *ow launch Odin and connect the device to / using ,S- cable. &ait till the I9)C*M port at Odin turns )ellow. 5. Do not touch anything on Odin and directly clic$ the $9" button and select the file with .tar.md5 e2tension. 0n my case, 0 have selected CF-Auto-Root-kona3g-kona3gxxgtn5 !!.tar.md5 ".

<. 1hen clic$ the Sta%t button and wait till the rooting pac$age is installed on your 3ala2y *ote 8.+. 0t7ll ta$e =ust a few seconds. 8. &hen the installation finishes, you will see $"SS< message on Odin and your device will reboot automatically. 0t will ta$e a while to boot up normally. )our 3ala2y *ote 8.+ has been rooted now. 1o confirm it open the app drawer and loo$ for a new app called >SuperS,? there. 0f you wish to verify root access on your device, you can download the #oot hec$er app from 3oogle /lay.

Install'ng CWM Re4o-e%y on Galaxy Note 8.0)

0f you also wish to install the loc$wor$'od #ecovery on your device, you can install it via Odin using the same steps as given above. @ust do the following steps% 1. /ut the device in Download 'ode again. 8. Aaunch *d'n+ +.0/ and connect device to the computer. 3. lic$ on $9" button and select the &' recovery file with .tar e2tension you downloaded above.

;. !inally, clic$ the Sta%t button. 5. &hen you see the /(SSB message and device reboots, disconnect the cable. &hen the device boots up, it will also have &' #ecovery installed on it. *ow are now entitled to en=oy custom #O's, mods and app that reCuire root access to installed. Dn=oyB
