1) This document provides the current-carrying capacity in amperes for multicore armored PVC-insulated copper conductor cables under different reference methods and cable configurations. 2) The cable capacities are listed for various copper conductor cross-sectional areas, ranging from 1 to 400 mm2, under ambient temperature of 30°C and conductor operating temperature of 70°C. 3) Reference methods include direct clipping (Method 1), or installation on a perforated horizontal/vertical cable tray (Method 11) or in free air (Method 13), for both two-core single phase cables and three or four-core three phase cables.
