Lighting Lux Calculation

This document provides information for calculating lighting requirements for a room, including room dimensions, target lux levels, luminaire types and photometric data. It evaluates whether singles, twins, triples or quads luminaires can achieve the target lux level and selects the minimum number and type of luminaires required based on the space to height ratio. Standard reflectances and typical utilisation factors for different luminaire styles are also provided as approximations when manufacturer data is unavailable.
