Rube Goldberg Machine

Rube Goldberg Machine

Step 1
• Person will push the tape roll down.
Step 2
• The roll of tape hits the weighted wagon
which will roll down and hit the car.
Step 3
• The mini car is let go and it hits the roll of red
ribbon.
• Make sure ribbon is set on the exact spot
right before it could roll down the ramp.
Step 4
• The roll of ribbon rolls down the ramp and hits the
yellow blocks that are arranged like dominoes.
• The blocks are arranged starting from left to right: 1”
1” 1.5” and 2”
• The yellow blocks tumble down to hit the final red
blocks.
Step 5
• Final red blocks are hit. Red blocks are connected to
a string that suspends the back wheels of the
weighted car.
• The red blocks are arranged perpendicularly to each
other with the last of the three pieces being opposite
of the bottom two. The last piece is weighted so that
it will fall.
Step 6
• The weighted car is released because the
fallen red block pulls out the string.
• The weighted car runs down the ramp and
hits the tower of yellow blocks stacked on top
of each other.
Step 7
• The tower of block is suspending the pendulum ball.
• Make sure the string is tense.
• The blocks must be arranged on top of each other so
that when it collapses, the pendulum falls straight
down and directly knocks toward the cup.
Step 8
• The cup full of marbles is knocked down.
• The cup is slightly tilted before so that its
easy to knock down.
• The cup is stuffed so that all marbles will fall
out of the cup.
Step 9

• The marbles roll out of the cup


• The marbles roll down the slide
Step 10

•The marbles roll into the cup.
