This week we read:

Valentines Reminders:

The Jolly Postman Yours Truly, Goldilocks The Post Office With Love, Little Red Hen

This week we learned about writing a friendly letter. We learned about all the parts of of a letter; the heading, the greeting, the body, the closing, and the signature. Your sweet lovebugs are very excited about writing letters. We decided we wanted to have a post office in our classroom. The children have begun the process of making an address book and mailboxes.

Dont forget to send in your shoebox wrapped in red, purple, pink, or white paper. Please wrap the box so that the top can come off. It makes it easier to read our valentines. Also please remember to send in a valentine for each member of our class. (I have attached a list in case yours got misplaced). Please have your children write each childs name on the valentine and a sweet note to that friend (i.e. I like your jokes) They are due Wednesday February 12 Also in your childs Thursday folder you will find a Valentines card for you to make for your amazing little one. Please return it by Tuesday. But keep it a secret ;)
