* This inventory helped clarify that students dont always know what types of music they like because they havent been exposed to many different types of music. Also, some students do not listen to music at all at home. Performing this inventory helped me understand the students musical backgrounds and helped me see that they need to be exposed to more different styles and genres of music in the music classroom.
