Description The SEVO Selector Valve is a stainless steel ball-valve that stops the fluid flow to a specific hazard unless activated. Valve actuation is pneumatically accomplished via a pilot cylinder and a solenoid actuator. Selector Valves are available in 2, 3, 4, and 6 with flange connections. Application: Selector Valves allow single SEVO cylinder arrangements to protect multiple hazards, reducing the amount of fluid and hardware required. Selector Valves are used to direct the flow of fluid into one specific pipe network of one hazard zone of a multiple zone application. Installation: The Selector Valve is installed in the supply piping for the hazard being protected. The valve can be mounted either horizontal or vertical (horizontal is preferred). The Selector Valve shall be mounted within 3-5 pipe lengths of the manifold tee. The actuator can be located up to 50 ft from the Selector Valve.
