1st Grade Apps: DEAR FAMILIES, I am Jessica Louk, Striving Readers Elementary Technology Coach, at Chief Jo and Valley View Elementary Schools. I would like to invite you to learn how we are utilizing the Striving Readers Grant to support your childs success via technology! This quarterly newsletter is a compilation of the iPad apps I have presented to our students. Each app has been carefully selected as it aligns with grade-level content and Common Core standards. The majority of the apps are FREE, yet if they are paid, I have noted the price. Please dont hesitate to contact me with any questions, and I hope you install these apps for your child to use if you have a tablet at home!
