Abortion

The document discusses abortion and its legal status in Malaysia. Abortion is defined as the removal or death of a fetus from the uterus before it can survive outside the womb. There are two types: spontaneous abortion which occurs naturally, and induced abortion which is intentionally caused. While some argue abortion should be a woman's choice, others believe it should not be legalized in Malaysia since the fetus has a right to life. Current Malaysian law makes performing an abortion without consent a criminal offense. The document also notes the increasing rate of abortions and common reasons women consider ending a pregnancy.
