Rules
I am very excited to be your childs teacher, and I look forward to a productive, positive, successful year. Since you and I share the same goal of your childs success, I know that we will be able to work together to accomplish that goal. I am eager to meet you so that we can begin this wonderful journey. It is important that we continue to communicate throughout the year; never hesitate to call or e-mail me with any questions or concerns.
I. Behavior Policy: Our Class Rules / Agreements Are: 1) Treat others as you would like to be treated. 2) Mutual Respect for Yourself, Others, and Things. 3) Use Appreciations (No Put Downs). 4) Follow Directions the First Time through Attentive Listening 5) Always do your best, and if you make a mistake, FIX IT!
Rewards for following the class rules are: The good feeling of being successful. Praise from the teacher. Forming good friendships in class. Class privileges and participation in class activities, rewards, and field trips.
Consequences for poor choices (choosing not to follow the rules): 1) Warning (Yellow , we think about it) 2) Log Behavior Chart 3) Out of class time out 4) Phone call home; lose all privileges.
I ----------------------, promise not to fight in my classroom. I understand that my teacher and parents love me very much and that would upset them so much. I want to learn and be happy with my classroom family. I will discuss my contract with my parents and will sign it. This means I wont break my promise!
