Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow. The heavy snowfall this winter in the mountains of West Virginia has created a bounty of opportunities for outdoor activities. The ski areas in the state have bountiful snow and will remain open through March and April. In addition to lengthening the skiing season, the abundant snow provides the excitement of an early spring whitewater season. The serendipity of snow on the mountains and water in the streams gives us a chance to offer a special combination package available only in March and April of this year. We have arrangements with both Winterplace and Snowshoe ski resorts that allow you to spend one day skiing and the next day rafting. This exceptional package is wild with activity and wonderful with value. We are offering one day skiing, one night at the winter resort of your choice, and one day of rafting for the unbelievably low price of $220 per person. Lunch is included on both days.

Spring Season Starts Early


The exceptional snow season promises a spectacular spring rafting season. The New River receives the flow from over three million acres of land. All rain and snow in the watershed contribute to the water rapids in the New River. The superb snow season that we experienced this winter, plus the expected heavy spring, rains promise fantastic spring whitewater. Summersville Dam is already full, so all excess water must be released. This means that in addition to the New River, we can begin rafting earlier on the Gauley River. Not every spring offers the promise of early rafting on the Gauley, so dont miss out on this springs opportunity to raft early and raft often.
