The use of 3D can create an enhanced experience for the audience and creates the sensation that the audience are in the movie The use of a spider web all over the poster can denote his use of spiderlike abilities, hence the name SpiderMan. The main image shows Spiderman above the state of New York, which could imply that the hero in the movie will save the city he lives in. He also appears to have a reflection of New York in his eyes, almost as if he is looking down to the city. This suggests that the hero has a responsibility to save the city and must get rid of evil. The use of the dark sky can connote danger and creates the feeling that there is an enemy in the presence.
The institution is put subtly in the bottom left corner of the poster. This is possibly due to not wanted to have anything in the way of the main image. This also could be because since Spider-Man is a very popular franchise created by Marvel (popular comic), they would need to advertise themselves excessively.
The scars on Spider-Mans chest show that somewhere throughout the movie, the main character will enter some an intense battle of some sort. This can peak fans interest because they will be eager to see the battle
