Brief Description of Evidence:

Through much hard work and dedication, I completed the CDA in December 2012. While participating in this course, I began to identify and conduct myself even more as a member of the early childhood profession. I prided myself in the knowledge I was gaining in the ethical guidelines and other professional standards related to early childhood practice.

Analysis of What I Learned:

Through the completion of this course, I learned how important it is to be a continuous, collaborative learner. I have learned to pool my knowledge from previous experiences in order to make the most sound and informed decisions I can. During any type of experience, it is important to look for things that could be made better the next time around.

How This Artifact Demonstrates my Competence on the NAEYC Standard:

This credential demonstrates my competence of this standard as an early childhood professional. This proves that I use ethical guidelines, I am a continuous and collaborative learner, and I make informed decisions when it comes to the children and families I serve. I was observed in my classroom environment many times conducting myself as an early childhood professional.
