a) Categorize & discuss in details the broader issues faced by this company in logistics, supply network & SC planning.

Logistics: Since, Short Circuit is based in Singapore and 80% of sales in SE Asia, a distribution centre should be there in this region, which can reduce their costs of shipping and other costs that are incurred for storage etc. which only helps The Company to increase their profits. Also they can increase customer satisfaction as the products are delivered on time.

Supply Network: When the supply network is around the same region or closer to the production units it helps the company to reduce the transportation costs. The quality of the products will be the prime focus for the company.

SC Planning: Since, the company has conducted many discount sales and price cuts as well as the lead time & costs has increased, the can set up an assembling unit in Dubai, so that as per order in North Africa, they can assemble enough and thereby avoiding obsolescence.
