A ratio is a comparison of two quantities with the same units. There are 3 ways to write a ratio:

2 to 3
Write it in words

2:3
Write it with a semi-colon

2 3

Write it in fractions

Ratio
Ratio has no unit of measurement, but the quantities that we compare must have the same unit.
