This week we learned about Eric Carle. We read:

Registration for the Afterschool Program will be Monday-Wednesday (1:00-5:00) of next week. There is a non-refundable $25 registration fee. May 8 will be our Career Day. Children are allowed to dress up on this day.

We learned all about Eric Carle. We learned about how he makes his illustrations and go to make some of our own. We did lots of different story comprehension activities. We even made our own mixed chameleons. The children have been working hard writing books just like Eric Carle.

The arrival of yearbooks, searching through the pages of pictures, and having friends sign their book has always been one of the students favorite events at school. This week we finished our amazing Baboon Spider!! We made his burrow and egg sac. We learned all sorts of interesting information about him. We learned that spiders rub their legs together as a defensive mecha nism to scare off their predators. We also learned the different parts of the spider. We are working on adding our spider facts to our fact books!
