NOTICE
All Students are hereby, informed that Ragging is prohibited as per the
decision of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in Writ Petition No. 656/1998 &
directions in the matter of University of Kerela v/s Council in SLP no. 24295
of 2006 dated. 16.05.2007 and that dated 08.05.2009 in Civil Appeal
number 887 of 2009. Therefore, If any student is found involved and found
guilty of ragging and/ or abeting ragging, actively or
passively, or being part of conspiracy to promote ragging in
any form, will be liable to be penalized as per the directions contained
in U.P. Government G.O.No.2297/Xvi-1-2008-1-250/96 dated 25.06.2008,
and guidelines issued by U.G.C. & U.P. Technical University, Lucknow. The
following punishments are liable to be awarded :-

1. Suspension from the Institute and academic privileges OR,


2. Suspension / Expulsion from the Hostel, Mess OR,
3. Deduction of General Proficiency Marks (GP) OR,
4. Withdrawal of scholarship/bus facility OR,
5. Expulsion from the Institute OR,
6. Any other punishment, as deemed fit by the Institute.
