Instructions
Enter the name of the dish in the box called Menu Item.

Add each ingredient, the weight used in ounces, then it's cost per
pound.

This will give you the raw cost.

Now enter the preparation time, and the hourly average wage of
employees preparing the dish.

We've added a 10% shrinkage rate, but you may want to change that
aswell. Just rememberto include the %.

Now enter your menu price per portion, and you have a good idea of
your food cost.

*Please remember that there are other costs to preparing food that can
affect these numbers, like utilities, rent, service staff, etc.
