Resource One Example and Location

Community

On career day, community workers and parents come together for a day to help kids see career choices. This is done at the school. The district is responsible for creating the guidelines and resources for curriculum and pacing guides for teachers, This ensures that teachers are aware of everything they need to teach to students for testing and getting prepared for the next grade level. This is available for every child that needs it. It can include RTI, E O!, peech, and help for students with an IE". There is also a case manager and guidance couselor for students too. These special services are all done inside the school and each specialist have there own classroom. These are available online and in the school for every teacher. The school has rooms of books for guided reading, plus provides teachers with books for their library. #any teachers are kept all their books from trainings as well. #aterials for teachers can also be found online. I have seen a few clubs in the school such as good news club, after school club, and a type of boys club. There are also events at the school that reward good grades and behaviors. These are again all done at the school during and after school hours. There is training for teachers when new technology is in coming into their classroom. $hen the mart%oard first came out training was done at the high school. This is not limited to &ust technology like the mart%oard, but can even be for computer trouble and more.

This room is located across from the principal's office in the office and is referred to as the vault. (ll the permenant records and data is kept by teachers and grade level inside the file cabinets. Teachers have the key to access this room at anytime. There are trainings done for teachers for every sub&ect area, but mainly reading, writing, and math every so often. These are usually held at different schools in the district. There are also parent volunteers for most classrooms who come help make copies and more.
