Task 4 ( SET 2) 1.

Suppose that you are interested in how female and male voters supported either Republican or Democratic presidents in the last presidential election. Data based on 200 case show the following pattern: Republican Female voters Male voters 20 50 Democrat 80 50

Write a program to reveal the relationship, if there is any, between the gender of voters and party affiliations of presidential candidates.

2. Given the following two-way classification based on educational levels (1 to 6) of nine job applicants and their job performance (high, medium, low), what conclusion can be made in terms of educational level and job performance, in light of data and PROC FREC results?

3. On the eve of the NCAA championship game, fans were curious about which team would win the 2007 championship: Kentucky or Syracuse. Here are average scores of each teams top 10 players during the NCAA tournament.

Analyze the data to answer the following question: i. Which team has a higher average score?

The higher average score is given by Kentuckys which equal to 15.54 compared to Syracuses.

Is the difference between mean scores of two teams significant?

From the above output, it can be concluded that the mean scores of the two teams are not significant since the p-value (0.7799) exceed 0.05
