ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT CONTROL USING

ABSTRACT:
There is a lot of requirement to control the appliances in our home when we
are working with our PC. In these situations we need to go to the place where the switch
board has been situated which is a time consuming process. The main aim of the present
project is to provide a facility by which we can control all the appliances i.e. Bulbs fan
T! free"e and air cooler etc.

In this project we connect all appliances to the microcontroller through the
relays and controlled by the PC through the serial communication link. The display unit
is also placed for to display required information i.e. the status of the appliances.
The instructions from the PC via hyperte#t will be given to the controller and
from there to switch $% or $&& the particular device according to the command. 'ere in
this project relays are connected to control up to devices.
The applications of this system are not only bound to control the home appliances
but also we can use this in the industries to control different machineries from the control
room with wireless communication with a few e#tensibilities
