First Thought of Second Life
Was not sure what it all entailed.

Did not know how to do anything


Did not know how to make my avatar (watched a
video for help)
Did not know how to get around
Did not know how to build things in the virtual world

Was worried how the people in second life would


interact with me

The first place that I went to was the Purdue University
Calumet Campus.
Took me some time to figure things out

What I Liked

That there are so many different virtual


worlds in Second Life

The people were very friendly

Not only for play but learning also


What I did not Like

Found sometimes when I would be flying or


walking I had a hard time controlling my
avatar.

Had a hard time creating my avatar when I


first started.

Sometimes videos did not work.


What I have Learned

Not to think of the virtual world as a bad


place

People are friendly in the virtual world of


Second Life

Not to be judgmental about virtual worlds
