HOW DO AIRPLANES OPERATE ?
Airplanes are usually operated by the forces
of lift and thrust. But the weight and the drag
counter these forces, so the airplanes need to
have the supportive forces stronger than the
opposing forces. Lower pressure is caused by
the increased speed of the air over the wing,
since the pressure is more powerful under the
wing, the wing is pushed upwards caused from
the angle of attack making the airplane fly.
THE FORCES
Lift (supports the airplane, and is a mechanic
force)
Weight ( a natural force that is caused by gravity
and is opposing the lift force)
Thrust ( makes the airplane fly forward and is a
mechanic force)
Drag ( counters and is opposing the thrust force,
and is caused by the existence of the airplane and
is also a mechanic force)

ANGLE OF ATTACK
The angle of attack is how the air attacks the airplanes wing
based on the shape of the airfoil. The higher the angle of attack,
the higher the airplane would fly.

BERNOULLI'S PRINCIPLE

BERNOULLI'S PRINCIPLE

NEWTONS FIRST LAW OF
MOTION
An object at rest stays at rest unless acted upon by an
unbalanced force.

An object at motion stays at motion with the same speed unless
acted upon by an unbalanced force.
NEWTONS SECOND

LAW OF MOTION
The relationship between an object's mass m, its acceleration
a, and the applied force F is F = ma. Acceleration and force are
vectors (as indicated by their symbols being displayed in slant
bold font); in this law the direction of the force vector is the same
as the direction of the acceleration vector.
NEWTON'S THIRD LAW OF MOTION
For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.
