30RB Opt28B Low Ambient Operation

Anthony Ornatsky announced a new option 28B for the Aquasnap Puron 30RB chiller range that allows for low ambient cooling operation down to -10°C using a two-speed fan, providing a more cost-effective solution than the existing option 28 which uses a variable speed inverter down to -20°C. Option 28B consists of a two-speed fan per circuit while other fans remain single speed, and does not impact efficiency, weight, or dimensions of the unit.

Option 28B Low ambient operation in cooling mode (-10C)

Dear customers

We are pleased to announce a new option for the 30RB Range.

You may now order the option 28B for low ambient operation in cooling mode down to -10C.

The Aquasnap Puron now has 2 level of option for low ambient operation:
Option 28 enables an operation with speed inverter down to -20C.
Option 28B enables an operation down to -10C, by using a 2 speed fan. It is a more
cost effective solution for applications that do not require cooling at lower ambient
temperature than -10C.

Application
This option is recommended for chillers which are required to produce cooling even in the
winter season. It will allow cooling generation down to -10C ambient temperature even with
negative brine (option 6).

Description
This option consists of a 2 speed fan per circuit (leader fan). Other fans will remain single
speed. The option 28B does not affect efficiency, weight or dimension of the unit.

Option compatibility
This option is not compatible with:
Option 50 Total heat recovery
Option 12 High static fans (announced soon)

Whishing you Good Sales
