1.1 Job Description
PowerbyProxi is seeking candidates to join the engineering product development team developing
wireless communication technology. The successful candidate will be a key contributor to the teams
engineering efforts. The scope of work will include evaluation of digital electronic and communication
topologies, design and test of P!"s, prototype development from #lpha through to $ass Production.
The candidate will work closely with Power Electronics %esigners, &#, Product 'afety, $echanical and
Production engineers.
The candidate should have the ability to excel in the development of complex digital designs with
embedded controllers.
1.2 Skills / Experience (items in red are essential requirements)
(. andidate should have or be able to pick)up strong analog hardware design skills in the following
areas*
a. Embedded programming for $icrochip, T+, #,-, ./0( and other controllers
b. #pplication programming
c. 1.2 3 0 4h5 and other +'$ band -6 communication channels
d. omponent selection
e. 'chematic capture and P! design using #% software
1. andidate should have a strong academic track record
7. 8nowledge of digital and analogue P9 hardware link layers and protocols e.g.* -'171 3 2.0 3 211,

2. Experience with 9inux development
