6 to 10 mm area of the femoral tunnel to be covered. In addition to providing
an effective solution for cortical blowouts, this feature offers a variety of
benefits to surgeons:
Reduced surgical time – reconstruction procedures using the XTENDOBUTTON
device only require one primary drill that can be used for the entire distance of
the femoral tunnel.

More options for revision procedures – allows surgeons to adapt to a variety of


possible intraoperative complications seen in revision cases.

Low profile fixation for pediatric cases – outside-in drilling to avoid growth
plates is now possible, eliminating the need for a washer and resulting in a
lower profile fixation.
