VKRD conducted various social and religious activities in April 2022. Over 80,000 mantras were chanted across 30 localities. Through 48 balwadis, 8,001 rural children were provided meals and nutrition. A medical program examined and treated 1,710 patients across 36 rural centers. Eye camps treated 272 people and performed cataract surgery on 50 people. Cultural classes taught 1,195 students Indian values through games and songs. Under various programs, food and supplies were provided to 142 destitute people. Monthly poojas were held in 399 village temples with 2,846 women participating. Literature was sold raising Rs. 65,598. Various yoga, tailoring, and religious programs

1. (Sri Rama )aya Rama* Mantra +as chanted during Deepa oo,a, Shivalinga
oo,a and daily by our -al+adi school children, cultural class students and during
monthly meetings by our -al+adi teachers and Social Workers. .very month

2. !hrough /' -al+adis, $,&&1 rural 4hildren +ere nurtured. 5n all the -al+adis,
Malt along +ith hygienically prepared highly nutritive lunch +ith vegetables
+as served during the day. #nd in the evening vitamin6rich cereals +ere
provided to the children.
3. 5n our Medicare rogramme, &110 patients +ere e7amined and treated "or
various common ailments, through &' Rural Medical 4enters in Kanyakumari,
8ellai and !hoothukudi districts.
4. .ye camps +ere conducted at & places, in Kanyakumari, and 8ellai districts in
+hich &2' +ere treated "or their eye ailments and '$ +ere operated "or
cataract.
5. 5n &39 Samskara Vargas, 119' students participated. !he students +ere taught
about the values o" 5ndian 4ulture, through games, lectures : lessons. !he
"eelings o" oneness +ere strengthened among participants, through patriotic
songs and games.
6. ;nder #dopt a <rannie rogramme, 09 destitute and old people +ere
provided +ith monthly solatiums, in the "orm o" rice, dhal, oil, etc., "or their
livelihood and /3 persons provided rice only, in Southern "our districts o"
!amilnadu.

"rom Kanyakumari, !irunelveli, !hoothukudi and Ramnad districts.

participated.
13. ?oga Varga has been conducted at %$ places, Kovilpatti and #ruppukottai in

14. ' tailoring units are "unctioning +ell in 8ellai : Kanyakumari districts +ith the total

members participated.

devotees participated.
17. SV Vi=ha +as celebrated at 9 places in t+o district in +hich more than &3%%
devotees participated.
18. &%%3 Deepa oo,as +as conducted at Shenbagavalli Kovil in Kovilpatti district

5n our bal+adi one Selvi.Sankara priya has last her gold ear ring
and in"ormed us the matter. #ll o" us searched "or the gold ear ring +hich +as not
available. !he child +as +eeping "or a long time. #"ter +ards one child named
Dhanush has gone to drink +ater. 8earby that place she has "ound the gold ear ring
and handed over it to me. #ll o" us "elt so happy. !hat child has acted in good
manner +ithout having any desire over the gold ear ring. @er character +as very
good.

5n our bal+adi Selvi Shanmugapriya is studying. Daily she +ill clean
all the plates o" students and a"ter+ards +e +ill provide "ood and she +ill take each
and every plate +ith "ood used to give to all the childs. >nly a"ter distributing all the
plates to the childs she +ill take her "ood. @er activity +as highly impressed to us. @er
habits "rom childhood made us to +onder.

5n our bal+adi one selvan.M.@ari aged 9 years is studying. @e +as
stammering and can not speak +ell. @is parents +ere +orried very much. !hey used
to enDuire us +hether he +ill he recovered "rom stammering. We took sincere e""orts
and gave special attention to him to speak very +ell. We gave training also to speak
in a good manner. 8o+ he is able to sing songs and speak very +ell. @is parents are
so happy and e7pressed their unbound happiness to+ards our e""orts.
