Cargo Tracking System

Cargo Tracking System tracks goods from their point of origin to the point of consumption to meet customer requirements. It involves integrating information, transportation, inventory, warehousing, material handling, and packaging. This project uses ASP.NET for the front end and SQL Server for the back end to provide cost effective cargo tracking solutions based on companies' throughput needs, such as simple scales for low volume or high speed handling systems for large terminals.

Cargo Tracking System

Synopsis

Cargo Tracking is the flow of goods between the point of origin and
the point of consumption in order to meet the requirements of consumers.
Cargo involves the integration of information, transportation, and inventory,
warehousing, material-handling, and packaging. This project is developed
with ASP.NET as Front end and SQL Server as Back End.
Cargo Tracking System is a part of the supply chain which
plans, implements and controls the efficient, effective forward and reverse
flow and storage of goods, services and related information between the
point of origin and the point of consumption in order to meet customers'
requirements.

This project is focused on delivering the most cost effective solution
that achieves the correct throughput. In the company the goods will use
simple scales may be the appropriate solution. In depots and smaller
terminals low cost static systems for packages, pallets and containers may fir
the requirements.

The project is used for high speed goods handling in the terminals and
large sorting techniques for the goods, high end dimensioning and
identification systems are created. Each solution requires a complete
understanding of the whole process for tracking, an understanding that has
acquired over for working with transport and cargo tracking.
