This document proposes a software system to manage payroll functions including employee details, departments, designations, salary breakdown, pay slips, and reports. The current system is manual, which makes data retrieval, updating, and storage time-consuming and difficult. The proposed system would computerize the payroll process, allowing data to be easily stored and accessed with a click of a button. It would have an admin module to manage employee information and a user module to view payslips and reports.

This project aims to provide software to Payroll
System that maintain the details of Employee
Details, Departments, Designations, Salary Breakup,
Pay slip details and Reports.
The reports are presented in the form of web pages
and decision supporting reports.



The present study deals with maintaining
information of Employees in preparing and
maintaining details of Employee Details,
Departments, Designations, Salary Breakup, Pay
slips and Reports.


Present system is manual.

The Project Metrics has to enter all the details of
project, documents, and tasks.

Retrieval of data takes lot of time.

Updating of data is difficult.

It is time consuming.
To computerize the system to store the details.

This makes easy to store and get the details at the
click of a button.

The data is maintained and backed up.

The term 'payroll' encompasses every employee of a
company who receives a regular wage or other
compensation.

payroll is the sum of all financial records of salaries
for an employee, wages, bonuses and deductions

The employee details are maintained based on their
IDs and salaries.

when ever the employee information is required ,it
can be retrieved from the database.

Authentication of the Employee has to be more
