1.0 OBJECTIVE
The objective of this calculation is to size the Current and voltage transformer for
Protection and Metering application of 33kV GIS & 11kV AIS switchgear at Al
Mazyunah primary station.
2.0 INPUT/BASIS
2.1 Power Transformer data for 20MVA transformer feeder is considered from single
line diagram.
2.2 Relay Make & Type are as per the Relay List from Vendor.
2.3 Contract Specifications.
3.0 CALCULATIONS
3.1 For detailed CT & VT sizing calculations, refer to Appendix-A & B.
4.0 CONCLUSION
4.1 Calculated CT and VT core parameters are tabulated in Appendix-A & B.
Contractor shall provide these CT and VT parameters to the manufacturers for
proper design of CT and VT.
4.2 Final CT and VT parameters as provided by vendor shall be provided for AIEC
review and confirmation.
