ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

I would like to acknowledge the following people for their support and assistance during the
internship. I would like to extend my gratitude to Mr. Raghupratap Singh Parmar for his
invaluable support and help during the training period, without which we suppose the
knowledge and the experience gained during the time would not have been possible. Thank you
sir for guiding me throughout and helping me understand the basics about the functioning of
NHPC Chamera Power Station Stage ll.
I would also like to acknowledge the contribution by the engineering staff present at Power
house and Dam who effectively explained the working of the various components of the entire
structures. Without their guidance and help, I doubt if I would have been able to adapt the new
environment comfortably, work and gain valuable practical knowledge.

PREFACE

This report contains the project done during our training period. We realized the essence of
industrial training while undergoing this training program. We have also understood the need
of practical knowledge for a fresh engineer along with theoretical knowledge
All engineering students are facing lots of problem while working in organization. Applying
theoretical knowledge only cannot solve the problem. It requires practical knowledge, which
can be helpful in future.
During training period students become familiar with the organization. Student acquire the
most advanced technical knowledge and get acquainted with sophisticated instruments, which
are generally not available in college
In this liberalized and global market, it is necessary for an engineer to have field knowledge in
order to achieve best quality and higher production to survive in such competitive
environment.
