HW Instructions and Sig Figs

Homework is due within the first 10 minutes of class and will not be accepted late or electronically. Assignments should be typed on standard paper with the student's name, course, and homework number identified. Problems should each be solved on a separate page and stapled together. Calculations should show units and assumptions, work symbolically before substituting values, and round final answers to 3-4 significant figures by boxing the response. Textbooks provide guidance on best practices for engineering problem solving and calculations.
