Wraithmore Outline v2

Premise: A tortured, alienated inventor must stop an army of monsters by
defeating their demonic leader or else the world is doomed. He does this by
saving a girl, vising the dark tower, and developing a new weapon. In the process
he learns that his tortured past makes him stronger.
1 . A character is in a zone of comfort,
Silas and Grace live in Wraithmore.
2. But they want something.
They feel penned up and restricted. They crave meaning.
3. They enter an unfamiliar situation
Grace gets abducted by the Nightkind. Silas goes out looking for her in his half-fnished car.
4. Adapt to it
Working together, they survive, thrive and realize that they need to stop the Nightkind.
5. Get what they wanted
They go to the dark tower and learn the truth about the world.
6. Pay a heavy price for it
Silas almost dies/loses Grace, realizes that his alienation is costing him, realizes that he must be vulnerable to
live.
7. Then return to their familiar situation
Silas and Grace return to Wraithmore, just ahead of Will Fever.
8. Having changed.
Silas and Grace use their new tools, new mettle, and new teamwork to work together and save the city.
They left as kids, they return as heroes.
