Course Description:
Intermediate Math 2 /ocuses on three critical areas o/ math: "%& 2ormulating and reasoning about e*pressions
and e3uations0 including modeling an association in bivariate data ith linear e3uation0 and solving linear
e3uations and s!stems o/ linear e3uations4 "2& grasping the concept o/ a /unction and using /unctions to
describe 3uantitative relationships4 "5& anal!6ing to( and three(dimensional space and /igures using distance0
angle0 similarit!0 and congruence0 and understanding and appl!ing the P!thagorean 7heorem.
